Overview
The Independent Catamarans IC 36 represent an entirely new breed of racing catamaran. I do not say this lightly but there is not a boat out there quite it.
But it's not hard to see why. With a top-of-the-line carbon rotating mast, an electric propulsion system, a huge number of hi-tech features, and clean and minimal but elegant interior that can sleep up to 8 people, this is a catamaran that has it all.
The boat boasts having won the 2022 La Ruta de la Sal regatta. From Barcelona to Ibiza (150NM in 13h47m) the IC36 beat more than 110 other boats, including racing special monohulls and maxis. This is a catamaran that can deliver speed and performance like no other. With speeds in excess of 20 knots and having maximum record of reaching 27.4 knots!

One of the most impressive features of the IC36 is its carbon construction. From the Hi-modulus carbon rotating mast to the Carbon Textreme daggerboards, carbon is everywhere on this vessel, which makes it incredibly lightweight and strong.
But the IC36 is not just about speed and performance. It's also designed with energy self-sufficiency in mind, thanks to its Oceanvolt electrical Engines with hydro-regeneration and 8 solar panels with boosters.
The boat of is a fully de-beamable design, so it can be easily transported to any locale on a whim if your regatta plans include hoping locales to do a circuit of regattas around the world or you wish to store it away during hurricane season.
